Yesterday our Kennedy Cup Squad were given the honour of playing the first and second game on the brand new Astro  FIFA 1 Pitch in the MDL.  After months of hard work and waiting for the weather to be right to allow the carpet to be put down the pitch in now playable.  The wait has been totally worth it as the pitch is fantastic and there is plenty of space around the pitch for spectators too.  Well done too all involved for getting this pitch in the MDL.

Whilst the lads were excited to be the first team on the astro they in no way let this put them off their two games.  The squad showed us all why they are heading to the cup by winning both their friendlies.  Even during the second game when exhaustion was setting in, they by no means slowed down and where determined to end the day with a win.
